Admission is free for children under the age of 6, caregivers accompanying visitors with a disability, members of our booster club, as well as members of the following organizations:
- Deutscher Museumsbund
- MuseumsCard Braunschweig (for your first visit)
- ICOM
- Museumsverband Niedersachsen und Bremen e.V.
Reduced fares are applicable for school and university students, apprentices, the unemplyed, federal volunteers (Bundesfreiwilligendienstleistende) as well as holders of a severely handicapped pass (50%). Groups of 10 or more people also pay the reduced fare (with or without guided tours).
In addition, holders of the following passes are applicable for reduced admission:
- Braunschweig-Pass
- Volunteer Pass Niedersachsen
- Volunteer Pass Freiwilligenagentur with an accompanying refugee
- MuseumsCard Braunschweig (2nd visit and onwards)

Entry fees for special exhibitions may deviate from the above mentioned fees or regulations.
