Taking photographs without flash, tripod or selfie-stick in the rooms of the permanent collections at the Herzog Anton Ulrich Museum and Burg Dankwarderode is generally permitted.

The Herzog Anton Ulrich Museum has step-free wheelchair access. All exhibition rooms in Museumstrasse 1 can be reached via a lift.
The exhibition rooms in the listed Burg Dankwarderode are not step-free.
