The Anton’s invites you to enjoy their culinary treats

The café and bistro “Anton’s” – run by the “Lebenshilfe Braunschweig” charity – at the Herzog Anton Ulrich Museum invites you to enjoy a relaxing break.

Treat yourself to a culinary experience before or after enjoying the Museum’s treasures. The café and bistro “Anton’s” is in the annex to the Museum with views of the idyllic museum park. It can be accessed both from the Museum itself and from the museum park.

Whether you feel that you would like to complement the cultural “delicacies” with some of our gastronomic treats, whether you are looking for a quiet place to relax after a stroll through the park or simply want some quality time with family or friends – we will be more than happy to give you a warm welcome.

“Anton’s” café and bistro offers coffee and cakes, waffles and ice cream, breakfast and small bites. We have a menu that changes weekly and offers seasonal, imaginative delicacies.

Our jams – such as apricot-lavender or strawberry-basil – are homemade, and our cakes are freshly baked. Our small bites such as asparagus quiche, pumpkin gratin, potatoes filled with dried tomatoes, goat’s cheese and olives, or our salad with goat’s cheese crumble are truly mouth-watering. Tarte flambée and delicious farm-baked bread with various different toppings are always on our menu.
