Dinosaurs in view

PalaeoArt MEETS original bones

Exhibition

It's “dinosaur time” again at the Staatliches Naturhistorisches Museum. At the center of the special exhibition are 21 oil paintings by the renowned research couple Hartmut and Cornelia Haubold from Halle (Saale). The works show detailed life images of all known large dinosaur groups – including well-known species such as Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops and Stegosaurus, but also less familiar ones such as Emausaurus and Mussaurus. These depictions are accompanied by original fossil and skeletal finds (e.g. skulls, teeth, bones, tracks). Significant dinosaur finds from Lower Saxony also bring the regional geological history into focus.
