The renowned “Wildlife Photographer of the Year” competition organized by the Natural History Museum in London will be held for the 60th time in 2024. The title is awarded to the 100 best international wildlife photographs in various categories. The Staatliches Naturhistorisches Museum is the only museum in Lower Saxony to exhibit the competition's astonishing and touching motifs, which draw attention to the diversity of life and respect for animals, nature and the environment.
